Personally I don’t like iPhone – paying a lot of money for something that’s supposed to be a phone – and watching the presentation of the new model has underlined my believes. I agree, it’s a phone with powerful hardware, but that’s it. I have a quote in my mind for this (I don’t know where I heard it): “a computer is as powerful as the software it uses”. You could have the latest hardware equipped computer, if you install DOS on it then it’s worthless. The same thing goes with the “smart”-phones. So what iPhone has a function to control it by voice, called Siri – it’s just software! If tomorrow someone releases the same software for other types of phones, would it mean that I could possibly have an iPhone?
